Introduction:
Whipped Cream is a premium quality cotton interlock, a mediumweight double jersey with a fine gauge close-knit, ribbed construction.
Colours:
This deliciously fresh light cream, solid-coloured fabric has a light tone like its freshly whipped namesake and is perfect to use as the main feature, or for smaller accents and details on your bespoke-made clothing.
Properties:
Boasting a drapey mediumweight handle, super soft texture and an almost brushed finish, this malleable and cosy interlock jersey has a good natural widthwise stretch of 30-40% and 10% stretch to the length. This cotton interlock is the ultimate in comfort as well as being breathable and absorbent.
Interlocks are the ideal fabric for people who want to start experimenting with jersey/stretch fabrics, as they're more stable and versatile than single jerseys.
Garment Suggestions:
Use Whipped Cream for a multitude of comfortable clothing and your favourite go-to garments. It's ideal for loungewear, pyjamas & night dresses, as well as vests, T-shirts & T-shirt dresses. Cardigans and cardigan styles will work excellently, as will roll-neck tops, skirts, summer dresses and infinity scarves. Just about anything that you'd want to wrap yourself up in!
Commonly used for baby clothing because it is kind and gentle on delicate skin types. Create baby grows, rompers, blankets, hats and accessories for children, with plenty of growing room!
