Introduction:

This superb soft crinkle textured linen, rayon and polyamide blend comes to you in a classic sand tone, making it ideal for a plethora of pleasing garment projects. A new addition to the website and manufactured by the same renowned European company as our summer Linens of 2021. These new additions are the same quality and with even more colours designs and natural fibre types.

Colour:

Textured Linen & Rayon - Dune (Traditional Linen-Look) is mainly linen has a little added polyamide-nylon which gives the rayon a versatile stretch. with a lovely linen Textured and soft natural tones. Suitable whether you are clothing you and yours, or producing a range of niche boutique wear. Natural fibre blend fabrics with timeless appeal. 

Weave:

Dune boasts a wonderfully textured look and feel. This is thanks to the linen yarns and close texture dobby weave (when viewed closely the weave is arranged in tiny squares). This wholesome natural blend fabric boasts a reassuringly weighty soft drape quality and comfortable stretch/ease. A woven 7mm navy selvedge on both edges creates the opportunity to be featured in your designs. We think it will look striking used at cuffs, hemlines and feature yoke details.

Garment Suggestion:

Classic neutrals form the mainstay of many wardrobes and this cool linen blend can be worn all through the seasons. Dune will make stylish key pieces. We think this gorgeous fabric has a very artisan like quality, Reenactors and Cosplayers will love this! Perfect for creating Folk Style clothing (add some personalised embroidery and these will become heirlooms of the future) or seriously stylish chic pieces worthy of a Vogue photoshoot. 

The Layer Up Collection by Sew Different is ideal for creating a capsule wardrobe of fresh spring-summer Linen and (Linen blend) makes you will want to take through into autumn. 

This excellent fabric will pleat, tuck and form full gathers perfect for re-creating historical styles and the current trend for prairie/buffet style dresses (Wildergown style), Boho & "#cottagecore" style clothing. Look to designers such as Gudrun Sjoden for style inspiration with a folk style twist.
