Humbug Breton Narrow Stripe is a soft, neatly striped, intarsia knitted, single jersey fabric. The horizontal, black with white humbug stripes are finely knitted with a 1cm pattern repeat, making this an ideal Breton style jersey and perfect for relaxed casual wear to go with everything.
This excellent single jersey is made in a superfine gauge knit, from soft polyester and elastane to give firm stretch across the width and slightly less on the length. A soft medium weight drape gives you endless possibilities for feminine styles where you can play with the direction of the stripes.
With all these redeeming features imagine a capsule wardrobe of key pieces which you can mix & match with your other basic staples. Black and white stripes always look fresh and sporty and are easily incorporated with most other colours and tones.
Use Humbug Breton Narrow Stripes to make comfortable and stylish clothing that feels cosy without being heavy. Create T-shirts, tunic tops with flared silhouettes and shark bite hems. Extend this style into dresses and add multi directional panels to the hemline to create eye catching flared details. Breton tops and artists smocks, classic roll-neck tops, simple raglan sleeve tops, simple shift dresses and skirts and so much more.
