Colour:
Dark Navy blue yarns set the base of this fabric, with a feature windowpane overcheck in classic white, conjuring up thoughts of midnight skies streaked with shafts of moonlight. This classic palette is perfect for a multitude of styles from, chic ensembles; full linen suits or neat shift dresses. Alternatively, combine it with your favourite denim and chambray pieces for a relaxed style.
Properties:
Linen has been used for centuries for its beneficial properties; it is cool and breathable, gets softer with washing & wear, and linen is impervious to moths and resists dirt and stains. Linen will not form lint or pill and can be washed at high temperatures with only moderate shrinkage. (approx 4%). The addition of viscose produces a softer hand with a subtle silken sheen.
The characteristic slubs (once viewed as a fault) are now part of the aesthetic appeal of quality linen fabric. Dante's Windowpane Check is stable, and lightly textured, with the reassuring naturally absorbent and comfortable feel of a favourite linen garment, lightly crisp and will soften with washing and wear. This light- medium-weight fabric is predominantly closely woven with a feature of fancy open weave areas that glisten with the silken sheen of the viscose fibres, creating an almost French couture style perfect for Channelling your inner designer!

Dante's Windowpane Check will form crisp details (with a little light interfacing), on collars, cuffs and waistbands. Used in quantity it will form soft and full feminine gathers, plus neat pleats with a reassuring drape. All you have to do is decide what to make.
