Airy Squares - Wisteria is an incredibly light and open cotton fabric woven in a mock Leno or Dobby weave, in a soft wisteria pinky lilac shade. The superfine yarns are spaced so as to produce a grid pattern of varying woven densities, giving a fabric which is almost sheer but also strong. It has a lightweight drapey handle, almost like a muslin.
Airy Squares will gather well and tuck beautifully, make it ideal for any summer garments such as softly gathered skirts, shirts and blouses. Create pin-tucks on a dress bodice without adding bulk, or a gather it up for full-skirted dress without adding weight.
