Fabworks uses DPD Local to deliver almost all shipments throughout the UK, with the exception of Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & other islands.

UK mainland 🇬🇧

For all UK mainland addresses we offer a reliable next working day delivery service provided by DPD Local. For some areas in Scotland (mainland only) it will take 2 working days for your order to arrive once it has been shipped. All shipments to UK mainland addresses will be delivered on working days only (Mon-Fri). Please contact us directly before placing your order, using Contact Us page, if you would like your delivery to arrive on another day (this may incur additional costs, as provided by our courier).

Northern Ireland: all postcodes

Scottish Highlands: FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40 (excluding PA38), PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50.

Scottish Islands: HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA38, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3.

If the postcode of your delivery address is any of the above, we will not send your order with our regular courier service & instead will send your order via Royal Mail. Please allow an additional 24-48hours for your order to arrive. If you would like your order to be delivered using a faster delivery service* please contact us prior to placing your order and we will make necessary arrangements for you. *Incurring necessary costs. 

Delivery 🗓📲

For all UK mainland deliveries you will be contacted by our courier service (DPD Local) via email & SMS to confirm delivery date and time, based on the contact information you have provided at checkout. On the day of delivery if you are not going to be available to receive your order, if you would like to defer delivery, or if you would prefer to collect from a pickup location, you can do this by following the steps on the notifications from DPD Local. This is strictly between you and DPD Local, Fabworks cannot control this process. Please avoid adding delivery instructions to your order at checkout and instead ensure that you use the facility provided by DPD Local to divert or arrange alternative delivery options.

Click & Collect 🤝

You can collect your fabric from Fabworks Mill Shop in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, WF13 1EN. To do this select the Pick Up option when on the Shipping page at checkout. This is a free service. We will let you know as soon as your order is ready to collect, we aim for a 24hour turnaround for all click & collect orders.

How can I get free delivery? 🚛

Shipping costs depend on the total cost of your order. For UK mainland delivery, orders of £70 and above will qualify for free delivery. 

What is the minimum order for delivery? 🚛

There is no minimum order for delivery, although please bear in mind that each separate order will incur the necessary shipping costs. 

Packaging your order 📦

All Fabworks Online orders are securely packaged. We know how important it is to keep your fabrics safe and ensure that each order is thoroughly wrapped. We are currently using two plastic mailer bags (made from 80% reclaimed materials) to pack each order. Each mailer bag is 100% recyclable ♻
