Introduction:

This delightful wool blend country tweed fabric is the epitome of all the favourite country colours rolled into one and displayed in a story of warp and weft wonders like a stroll down the riverbank full of all nature's wonders.

Colour:

Beige and grey sit calmly in the background like the dried reeds and grasses of a winding waterway, whilst alternating bands of rich mossy green and peaty brown, across the warp, are accentuated by vivid orange the colour of a Kingfishers breast feathers. The deep jewel green feathers of mallard ducks provide further inspiration with alternating bands placed alongside the grounding peat brown across the weft. The combination of warp and weft accent colours produces the characteristic country check with feature windowpane overcheck.

Riverside Check boasts all the hard-wearing qualities of a finely woven woollen, a touch of polyester produces extra strength. This fabric is closely woven, stable and boasts a reassuring, cosy heavy drape quality. This classic wool tweed is soft and malleable perfect for creating temperature-regulating apparel with style.
