Natural white cotton yarns on the warp are woven artfully through the weft with boucle/twist yarns of, black and blue-grey silky polyester blended yarns. Accents of silver-black metallic look yarn add further interest to this soft cotton feel jacquard fabric.
Properties:
Soft cotton feel and lightly textured diamond chained stripes which look like they have been carefully hand stitched are woven in a basket-like jacquard weave. The fabric has a stable width-wise and lengthwise handle, but quite a bit of bias stretch. It will form soft gathers and drape well too,
Garment Suggestions
It is pleasingly reversible (though lighter in tone on the reverse) so ideal for unlined jackets, cardigans and waistcoats!
Also ideal for tunics with soft roll necks and artists/fisherman style boxy tops cover-ups. Worker style overshirts / shackets.
