Ember and Ash gives two colour options for the price of one, featuring a light, mild ash grey on one side and a rich rust ember hue on the other, with visible tiny pinpricks of grey coming through onto the ember rust side where the two fabrics are woven cleverly together, and showing a clear twill weave.

Properties:
The design is a finely woven double twill with the characteristic visible twill diagonal, the two layers producing a cloth of medium weight with a stable, close weave, and a soft, yet strong and resilient hand, and a soft drape.
Suggested Uses:
Perfect for simple garments with a touch of luxury - perhaps a utilitarian style, a reversible workwear jacket with felled seams, double stitching and contrast stitching details or similar. This 2.3 metre length is enough to create soft, cosy overshirts and jacket styles with the weight of denim but the warmth of wool and cashmere.
