Introduction:
This Yorkshire Tweed Herringbone was rescued from our Yorkshire Tweed supplier as a collection of seconds that we considered were perfectly imperfect and too good to miss. We will endeavour to send you a cut length with minimal faults. The price of this Yorkshire Tweed reflects the faults and we feel is still a valuable and beautiful product.
This fabric may have minor weaving faults; knots, slubs weave discrepancies and slight marks.
Magpie Navy is a gorgeous all-wool tweed. Manufactured in Huddersfield undergoing the same processes as our exclusive Heart of Huddersfield range. This fabric is not one of Fabworks' own exclusive designs.
Colour:
Woven from a delightful combination of 100% wool yarns, this fresh and classic combination has a beautifully simple natural white warp of softly and artfully spun yarns and forms the base for the classic navy that sits on the weft.
The classic 2cm wide chevrons of the herringbone weave create a smart contrast between the two yarns. Navy and white is a seriously chic and smart classic this darkest navy sitting alongside natural white is as strikingly beautiful as the plumage of an inquisitive magpie with its blue-black sheen.
