Introduction:

Liberty Style 100% Pima Lawn - Paper Parasols (Blue) was new to Fabworks in Summer 2021. Considered a very high-quality fabric originally made in South America, but finding its way to all corners of the globe due to its excellent strength, breathability and amazingly soft feel and weight; akin to lightweight silk. This is real luxury cotton.

Colour:

Paper Parasols (Blue) is a delightful Liberty Style Pima (cotton) lawn, printed with a superb all-over design that has a very vintage style. A cascade of Paper Parasols as delicate as freshly opened Himalayan poppies and butterfly wings - reminiscent of the delicate wax paper and bamboo ones favoured by the rich (in bygone times) is printed in vintage style hues of classic navy, stone, beige, parchment, faded indigo and Himalayan poppy turquoise. A quintessential style, similar to ones favoured by Liberty, Paper Parasols is perfect for a vast array of pretty summer makes from clothing to crafts.

Properties:

100% Cotton, cool and breathable, and feels slightly thicker and crisper than cotton lawn, yet still soft, smooth, and stable with an excellent full drape quality. This versatile fabric will hold crisp details such as collars, facings and cuffs and will form and hold the prettiest full gathers, for flounces ruffles and all those feminine details.

Timeless style makes it perfect for vintage style clothing and other retro creations, it's perfectly put together palette makes it equally ideal for sharp shirts and other up to date classics. These classic designs in the softest lawns never date and by creating garments (or any other hand-crafted makes) from this stunning fabric you will be creating heirlooms of the future.
