This fine, silky fabric, is woven with delicately shimmering, horizontal stripes. The alternating stripes of delicate dove grey and natural white are so finely woven you would be forgiven for thinking this fabric was silk. The fine cotton and acetate yarns catch the light producing a subtle sheen.
Heirloom Silken Stripes boasts excellent stability width and lengthwise and has a soft and malleable drape quality, perfect for creating classic shirts and blouses, add some fine gathers and pin-tucks to create vintage styles, Edwardian high necked blouses, '70s style peasant blouses, pussy bow blouses with voluminous statement bows.
Take advantage of this fabrics silk like quality and create pretty lingerie, slips, cami knickers and camisoles, add some dove grey lace and your creations will look a million dollars.
