Properties:
Honest Earth is a finely woven 100% cotton shirt-weight fabric. This cosy fabric has a brushed face side and soft smooth breathable reverse. This quality product is lightweight (but certainly not flimsy) stable and strong, twill woven with a soft, malleable and reassuring drape quality.
Fabrics of this cosy and hardwearing quality are so comforting you will want to make a whole wardrobe of clothing from them.
Garment Suggestions:
Oversized cosy shirts and shackets spring to mind on first contact with this quality brushed cotton. Winter Pyjamas are a must! Create the cosiest shirt-style or cottage-core smock-style dresses and pinafores. How about comfy and cute little girls' winter dresses or lightweight dungarees for babies and so much more?
If the fabric is too plain for your tastes - team with a similar hued palette of checks or ditsy florals. Add applique or embroidery to shirt collars, dress yokes and button bands for the cutest cottage core styling. Pyjamas will look seriously stylish with contrasting piping to the collar, cuffs and pocket tops. Perhaps team with a stylish monogram for a bespoke personalised look?
Other Uses:
Brushed flannel-type cotton fabrics are perfect for backing patchwork tweed throws and other wool-soft furnishing projects where you need the warmth of wool but the softness of cotton against your skin.
Add to to your fabric stash and you are sure to find a host of uses!
