Introduction:
Whiskey Oak is a sublimely sartorial, soft 100% lambswool fabric in a lovely medium weight - very similar to our former Traditions Tweedy Twill.
Woven and inspired by tradition and boasts all the benefits from modern textile manufacturing methods. With a soft and drapey medium-weight handle; otherwise stable and with natural bias ease. Perfect for a host of tailoring and dressmaking purposes as well as soft furnishings and crafts too!

Whiskey Oak is a superb melange of earthy dark wood tones with a sprinkling of lighter dusty brown fibres to produce a traditional tweedy style.
Properties:
Boasting a stable handle width and length-wise and has a reassuringly soft and cosy drape quality. Both sides of this fabulous fabric are superb, all you have to do is decide which side you want to show off. You can make reversible garments and have the benefit of both, or garments with contrasting panels, pockets, collars, etc.

Moisture Absorbing: The moisture-retentive superpowers of wool! It’s hydrophilic core gives wool the ability to wick away moisture keeping you dry and comfortable – this possibly one of our favourite properties because you can stay fresh when wearing wool, from autumn right through to spring!
