Introduction:

Dusk on the Moor Plaid - Yorkshire Tweed is a gorgeous premium quality all-wool tweed herringbone fabric. Manufactured in Huddersfield undergoing the same processes as our exclusive Heart of Huddersfield Range. This fabric is not one of Fabworks' own exclusive designs.

Woven from a delightful blend of multi-tonal, nature-inspired yarns, this fabric is full of grounding, natural tones. Inspired by moorland walks where dusky shadows are created by the old stone walls and ancient fences.

Colour:

Dusk on the Moor is intersected bands of charcoal black define the medium-scale check and are infilled with multi-toned earthy green-browns and the lichen-tinged blue-green of loden. The combined hues produce a relaxed and pleasing natural palette with true country style.

Dusk on the Moor is a closely woven all-wool fabric with a versatile medium weight and a "traditional wool feel" that boasts a stable handle that drapes reassuringly with the promise of cosy warmth. It’s the perfect fabric for a plethora of sewing room projects - it will always do as it’s told. Wool of this kind is easy to sew and will stand the test of time.
