Precious Sapphire is closely woven in a superfine flat weave from the finest Italian worsted yarns and has added elastane to achieve a superior bounce back / retentive stretch. The relatively high elastane content is immediately apparent on first contact with the fabric. This ex-designer suiting fabric boasts excellent stability (lengthwise) and good stability until stretched across the width. The fabric is malleable and crease-resistant with a reassuring drape quality - perfect for less-tailored silhouettes.
