Introduction:

Bosco di Notte is a first-rate wool suiting, woven in Italy from the finest quality yarns. Ex-designer deadstock, originally created for a top British men's and ladies' wear designer renowned for his unique classic British style.

Colour:

Boasting a palette of dark and stylish hues, a combination of tones that produce a dark air of mystery like the forest at night. The warp and weft yarns combine classic black and alternating dark spruce green yarns accentuated and elevated with superfine hazel brown that intersect to produce the subtle but very smart windowpane check. This impressive checked suiting fabric has an air of timeless class.

Properties:

Woven in a timeless superfine twill weave to produce a smooth soft feel, this close weave is fine but hardwearing. This light/medium weight suiting fabric has a reassuring drape quality and is more resistant to creases. Classic twill worsted in a classic checked design - a stylish and versatile fabric that will never date.

Garment suggestions:

Bosco di Notte will look great cut on the bias for tucked and draped Vivienne Westwood-style dresses and skirts. Other uses are pencil skirts, and classic semi-tailored silhouettes, jackets, waistcoats and 50's style cigarette pants, add a matching waistcoat such as The Jemima Waistcoat.

If you love bold tartan statements add The Cordelia Trousers, Pinafore dresses, fit and flare dresses circle skirts and lots of other '40s & '50s  Rockabilly, Retro and Lindy Bop Styles. Create classic kilts, coats, jackets, capes and poncho wraps.

Other Uses:

Hats, caps, bags and accessories.
