Navy Bark - Textured Double Crepe is a wonderful, medium / heavy weight, double crepe that boasts a wonderfully crinkled and fine bouclé-like detailed texture on the face in a darker shade of navy, that resembles the burrs of the tree bark. The fine bouclé detail is actually more apparent on the reverse side of the fabric and has a lovely soft texture. This excellent fabric also has the classic drape quality you would associate with a heavy crepe. An ideal alternative to wool dress crepe, it's easy wear easy care, it won't shrink and it'll will wash and dry easily and with minimal creasing.
Navy Bark boasts a sumptuous medium / heavy drape quality and excellent body. It also has good stability and a bounce back stretch across the width and bias (none such on the length).
Put this versatile fabric to use for semi-fitted, classic and elegant pieces that skim and flatter your curves with comfort.
