Lacey Owl Faces - Blister Jersey - Warm Cocoa

The super lace blister knit of Lacey Owl Faces is created by knitting two layers together at different tensions. Owlish faces cover the warm cocoa coloured fabric. It's quite sheer in places so think about using it as an overlay or using a lining on certain garments.

Lacey Owl Faces boasts a lightweight, soft and malleable handle with a soft drape quality that will form elegant details. This soft and feminine finely knitted fabric has good two-way stretch, but overstretching will distort the design and should therefore not be used for designs which require good retentive stretch.

The finely knitted double layers of Lacey Owls make this fabric an ideal alternative to lace for more everyday styles. Put to use for simple T-shirt styles, asymmetric tops and tunics, add some crochet lace trim for a bohemian style. Choose a plain or small patterned interlock jersey of similar colour and create pieces with panelled details. Emphasise the soft drape quality and add hanky edge details to a skirt hemline for true boho style. T-shirts with a contrast yoke detail with a solid colour jersey for the bodice, draped or gathered dresses, tulip style skirts (lining recommended), shrugs, kimono tops, batwing or dolman sleeved tops and cowl neck tops.
