Ice Mountains - Chambray Style - Viscose & Cotton is a wonderful, fine Italian woven, viscose and cotton block herringbone. The tiny chevrons, which are usually grouped together to form the rhythmic herringbone pattern, are woven into tiny rectangles which emulate crystalised blocks of ice with feathery frond-like patterns.
Ice Mountains A combination of fine, silky soft yarns in ice white and mid denim blue gives an all-over tone similar to a washed and worn favourite chambray or washed-out denim, but this expertly woven fabric is no ordinary chambray, this designer/utility fabric can be dressed up or dressed down. Originally made for the same high-end name as our SOS fabrics, it's equally stunning and is perfect for cross-seasonal wear for the whole family.
Ice Mountains boasts excellent strength and the most beautiful, reassuring drape quality, making it perfect for nearly anything It will hold crisp details like collars and cuffs, it will form superb ruffles, gathers and pleats. Denim and chambray styles have perennial appeal.
The colours suit most skin tones and will easily sit with so many other things in your wardrobe. A natural fibre blend makes this beauty breathable and soft - perfect for clothing all members of the family, from pretty toddler dresses and cute rompers to seriously smart shirts.

Why choose wool fabric? Benefits of sewing with Wool! 🐑
We love wonderful wool! Why? Because it looks beautiful, well yes but did you know wool has a series of superpowers that make it the most incredible natural fibre, suitable for more garment suggestions and sewing inspiration than possibly any other?
Wool has a unique naturally crimped 3D structure which attributes to some brilliant properties & makes it a great fabric to wear throughout all the seasons.
Naturally Breathable: This amazing 3D crimped structure promotes air circulation allowing air to pass through the fabric, allowing for circulation and ventilation for your skin to breathe, keeping you cool.
Shower Resistant: Sheep naturally produce a waxy substance called lanolin. As sheep live outdoors, this naturally occurring wax helps to protect sheep from the elements, naturally shedding water & keeping them dry. This same property is retained within the wool fibres when spun into yarn.
Moisture Absorbing: The moisture-retentive superpowers of wool! It’s hydrophilic core gives wool the ability to wick away moisture keeping you dry and comfortable – this possibly one of our favourite properties because you can stay fresh when wearing wool, from autumn right through to spring!
