You will find gabardines, twills, serges, puppytooths and other classic styles in this collection, all of which are perfect for cargo pants, trench coats, bodywarmers, military jackets, utility wear & other classic military styles.
Supple and malleable like suiting wools but with more weight! Think practical, sturdy fabrics that are built to stand the test of time. Featuring gold-woven selvedges ~ a sure sign of quality.

This cloth was saved from a West Yorkshire woollen manufacturer, where it would otherwise have been destroyed. Rescuing good cloth from waste is what Fabworks is for. This piece carries stripey warp lines running down the length of the cloth. They are most apparent across large flat panels and in strong light, and least apparent in gathered, pleated or draped styles. Thoughtful pattern placement will work around the most obvious of them. It is offered at a reduced price for this reason. We strongly advise ordering a sample, or a 0.5m Cut Length, to inspect the cloth in detail before committing to a project.
