This first rate, Italian woven, all wool suit weight fabric is woven with superfine crinkled yarns in a complex checked design which features a fabulous textured detail. If you thought suiting fabrics were only for suits think again... The possibilities for this beauty are vast!
Lapis & Sapphire boasts a jewel toned palette of rich royal blue / Lapis that sits proudly in the background, woven through with dark navy to form the fabulous check design. With a stable hand with a reassuring drape quality which oozes class!
This Italian thoroughbred will of course make the most superb jackets and trousers but consider using this textured stunner for cosy A/W dresses, pinafore dresses and skirts. Construct a neat pencil skirt in Lapis & Sapphire and team with a matching Chanel style jacket ~ use the fringed selvedges and a velvet trim for that authentic designer style.
Utilise the soft drape quality and create pretty tiered and gathered, boho-prairie style dresses and shirtdresses. Moisture Absorbing: The moisture-retentive superpowers of wool! It’s hydrophilic core gives wool the ability to wick away moisture keeping you dry and comfortable – this possibly one of our favourite properties because you can stay fresh when wearing wool, from autumn right through to spring!
