Classic Black Wool Dress Crepe is a top notch designer wool crepe that is super soft, malleable, and has good resistance to creases. Woven from a lightly brushed and crimped yarn in a super close weave construction, this brilliant fabric that never dates can be used for women's and menswear. (This little gem came from a company that made garments for top high street ladies wear designers that sell 'little black dresses' for hundreds of pounds.)
Wool crepe of this quality is hard to find because it is so versatile, its redeeming qualities of temperature regulating warmth, excellent drape and resistance to creases, good stability and of course being black, mean there are a plethora of things you will want to make.
