Perfectly Imperfect Notice:

This Tubular Interlock is offered at a reduced price due to minor imperfections.
While the fabric quality, stretch, and performance remain excellent, small holes and fold marks are present throughout the fabric. With careful pattern placement and thoughtful cutting, these markings can be worked with easily.

We recommend purchasing a little extra metreage to accommodate the fold lines. This has been reflected in the reduced price.

Origins of This Fabric

Yorkshire Independent Clothing Manufacturer

This collection of dressmaking fabrics has been sourced from a Yorkshire clothing manufacturer, with 30 years experience producing quality, British-made fashion garments, who has now decided to retire.

With their strong background in knitwear, this range is led by an excellent selection of knitted jersey fabrics, along with a well-balanced mix of woven dressmaking material, including denim. They were originally produced for UK garment manufacturing, and so show the hallmarks of commercial-standard cloth - having good weight, a dependable handle and a well-finished feel. These are fabrics designed for commercial clothing production and will enable you to give your creations the ‘high street label’ and professionally-made look, wearing well over time and after repeated washing.

❕ ❌ 🧵 Perfectly Imperfect Fabric 🧶 ❌ ❕

This fabric comes from a top‑quality, independent Yorkshire clothing manufacturer. Occasionally, small appearance imperfections can occur, such as minor marks or fold lines, but the fabric itself remains physically perfect and retains the high quality expected by brands. These “perfectly imperfect” fabrics offer excellent value for makers who are happy to work with minor, cosmetic faults.

Imperfections for this fabric are listed within the products description above. Fabworks does not sell or produce fabrics that are hugely faulty. All are perfectly imperfect and not quite up to scratch to be sold at their original retail price.

We advise ordering samples to gauge the fabric quality and see any imperfections.
