Introduction:

Dreamy florals are a classic style and perennial favourites for Spring/Summer and are archetypal of British style, such as the classic tea dress. This lightweight and lightly textured polyester crepe is just the ticket for recreating such styles and other similar bespoke designs.

Colour:

Fresh cream, as light as first spring blossom, forms the base and backdrop of this pretty floral design. Sprigs of delicate roses and other floriferous English summer garden favourites are printed in a multi-tonal olive green (foliage), with complementary blooms of petal pink, magenta, mimosa yellow and buttercup yellow that form the prettiest colour palette.

Rose Garden Promise boasts a lightly textured finish that's perfect for easy-wear and easy-care (non-iron) dresses and so much more. This poly crepe is stable (both length and width-wise) and features a beautifully fluid drape quality. Its crease-resistant properties mean that this fabric is perfect for a multitude of loose and softly flowing styles, forming perfect gathers for floriferous frills and ruffles.

Dresses and tops with soft gathers such as the Megan Nielsen Patterns - Protea Capsule Wardrobe. Create simple summer dresses, with elasticated shirred bodices and fun cropped/Gypsy tops with puffed sleeves for boho styles. Create a wonderfully retro look with a nod to the styles of Ossie Clarke and Celia Birtwell, with solid-coloured crepe panels and added ruffle details alongside the florals for a truly bohemian style.
