Introduction:
Made in Europe by a company of world renown, with centuries of expertise and tradition. This fabric gives you all the benefits of natural fibres. Linen has been used for centuries because of its beneficial properties; cool and breathable, gets softer with washing & wear and linen is impervious to moths and resists dirt and stains. The added cotton reducing the crispness (if 100% linen), thus giving extra softness to the overall feel.
Colour:
Chestnut brown colour organised into soft stripes caught and held in small ladder-like stitched ridges. Named from nature browns, used by Mother Nature herself! What better recommendation?
Properties:
Raised uniform vertical ridges created by a clever stitch make this a permanent feature. A very fine woven almost check sits discreetly in the background.
Lightly grain-like textured.
Check style weave with linear grooves/stripes at 2.5cm intervals.
Stable and hard-wearing hand.
Malleable and soft to touch, good drape softly when used at length.
