Mayan Meander is another of our unique, quirky, one-off fabrics from our Avoca dressmaking range. This pale cream toned, stretchy mesh type fabric has alternate bands of lace inserted across its width and is then further embellished with its graphic, ethnic, tribal style print that has very Mayan influences. The large horizontal design features bands with large oval motifs, then alternating bands of smaller Mayan style motifs. Printed in complimentary shades of rich Mayan chocolate and hazy wide bands of coral pink, to produce a strikingly unique fabric.
Boasting excellent width wise stretch (none such lengthwise) and a light weight drapey handle too.
Put Mayan Meander to use for eye catching designs. Suitable for dance wear, costume and unique bespoke designs which require a translucent floaty drapey style, try maxi dresses and skirts using a silky fine ivory or cream coloured jersey as an underlayer will accentuate the design and colour palette. This wonderful tribal style fabric will also make feminine beach cover up style kaftans and sarongs too!
