This beautifully Slinky Sapphire Dress Crepe is exactly as its name suggests! Jewel toned deep blue sapphire with a matte almost silk sheen that has the most amazing fluid drape. When held in any quantity over 1metre this fabric has an almost weighty drape. An amazing crepe type with the characteristic fine grainy texture of good dress crepe but under close examination it is actually woven in a tiny herringbone weave. This makes Slinky Sapphire Dress Crepe strong and hard-wearing with its reverse side slightly darker than the face.
Featuring a slight width stretch and good firm length stretch, this sophisticated fabric is perfect for fitted or occasional dresses such as ball gowns, prom dresses and bridesmaid dresses. The weight is also perfect for jumpsuits, playsuits and drapey wrap dresses.
