Introduction:
This first-rate ex-designer linen and cotton blend fabric sports the lightly textured style of linen, expertly woven in a light Oxford style weave using natural white yarns on the warp and weft. The feature 2.5cm border that appears on one selvedge (photo 4) has a simple provincial style that is ideal for use on sleeves, lower hems and other areas of interest.

Properties:
The high thread count and Oxford style weave produces a pleasing cool, absorbent, breathable and stable light/medium handle, with a reassuring drape quality when used in longer lengths. The close weave of alternating white yarns together resembles a finely sewn horizontal running stitch. The additional bonus feature of a vertical border that sits on one selvedge makes for creative expression (photo 4).

Quality fabric very pleased with it
This is such a lovely soft fabric with some weight behind it,purchased this to make a classic white shirt, Its cut out and ready to sew and by the feel of it Its going to have a lovely drape when made up.Very pleased
I bought this on the recommendation of the previous reviewer, as I loved the blouse she made with it (I bought the blouse pattern too). It is very good value for the quality of the fabric. Soft but opaque, with a very slight sheen, a lightly textured appearance from the weave and two very faint woven stripes in the same soft white near the selvedge. Now I just hope I manage the blouse okay, as I have never tried pin-tucks before.
It feels so beautiful and soft to wear. Very high end.
It took the pin tucks of my Byrdie Button Up blouse beautifully.
