Perfect Rose Pink Melange is just as its name suggests a fabulous, cool, breathable linen fabric, woven with superfine classic white linen yarns setting the warp, and sweet sugared almond pink throughout the weft. The combination creates a fabulous sketchy melange effect with the most wonderful natural tones. A pleasing selvedge provides the opportunity to use it at hemlines, cuffs and feature yokes.
Properties:
Linen has been used for centuries because of its beneficial properties: cool and breathable, getting softer with washing & wear and linen is impervious to moths and resists dirt and stains. Linen will not form lint or pill and can be washed at high temperatures with only moderate shrinkage.
The characteristic slubs (viewed as a fault once upon a time) are now part of the aesthetic appeal of quality linen fabric. It is stable, soft and has the feel of a favourite linen shirt. This lightweight fabric is closely woven and slightly translucent.
