This first rate, Italian woven cotton poplin, features a fresh white background with fine woven over check in superb sunset shades. Created by weaving superfine yarns of black and rich tomato red in varying concentrations of stripes to produce the deep pink and grey shades you see in the sunset.
Sunset Check - Cotton Poplin has a crisp, cool cotton feel. The light and airy checked design evokes the promise of fresh summer days after a rich sunset. This breathable easy to sew shirt weight fabric is stable width and lengthwise and also boasts a soft drape quality. When gathered or pleated this will form excellent fullness with good body - perfect for pretty summer dresses and tops. Alternatively create easy sun dresses / tops with shirring elastic bodices and simple spaghetti straps.
