Emerald Green - Poly Dress Crepe is a fantastic fluid drapey polyester light dress crepe. If you love a fine quality wool crepe but don’t want the complicated and careful washing instructions, then this is the one for you! The colour is an intense rich Emerald green and the texture is typical of a light, dress weight crepe, it has a stunning drape quality (even better across the bias) and a light-weight handle. It's stable down the length and across the width.
Perfect for fashioning all things drapey, frilled tiered, ruffled, flared, or flounced. Let your imagination run riot for all those elegant creations you will want to create as well as simple classics like slip dresses, boxy slash necked tops, camisoles and pleated skirts. Think 1940s styles with a gather just below the bust, slimming darts and extending through the waist.
Tweak this style extending the hem length, deeper collars and cuffs with matching cover buttons and you have a fabulous retro '70s style. You can also use this fabric to make elegant drapey palazzo pants, harem pants or culottes.
